Real Deal Teal Makeover For The Books!

Old is the NEW new!

Check out this 1950’s-60’s hutch that came in this week for a makeover at the shabby shop! Lovely client Jill is doing some home renovations and felt it was time her dining piece received a new do!

So off to the "furniture spa" it went to be pampered....

Yup, the hutch was all vintage brown with a frown and feeling down. Until………it met Mr. Teal River  Junk Monkey Paint! Ta-daaaa! A marriage made in heaven! **HeArTs In My eYeSsssssss**

After consulting with Jill she gave me free reign on the shabby chic-ness........which if you know me, this girl lovessss to distress! Call it uber distressed, shabby beachy, chippy or just plain GORGEOUSSSSSSS!!!

This style gives the piece dimension, highlights & adds character and a richness to bring it back to life!

Remember, no matter what the age, what the material, the style, or current color---Junk Monkey Paint Makeovers can transform a piece so you fall in LoVe with it all over again!

(Be sure to sign up for a class if you want to pick up some shabby painting tips!)

Confession: My favorite color is blue, so I'm partial to teal! It's an awesome vibrant color to revamp an oldie but goodie! It's also currently a home color trend!

Shabby love,

Sonia Xo
