If it's one thing I especially love about my move to PA is the roadside markets.
Now don't get me wrong. Growing up in Newfoundland, Canada I also would come across roadside stands from time to time.
BUT it was slim finding them. And ninety nine per cent of the time they were devoted to seafood products!
(Insert me crying now when I go visit back home and have now become allergic to fish. Ugh. Adult food allergies. Blaa)
So I'll stick with flower finds and veggie markets!
The ones in PA I notice usually carry things like maple syrup, apple cider, maybe some root beer....jams, jellys and stuff like that too.
This one I'm visiting today on my vlog isn't too far from my home. It's located right by the side of a creek and I think it's pretty scenic.
If you haven't visited the Laurel Highlands in PA, you need too.
It's just so beautiful. Every season is something different and fun.
And I'm happy for summer farm stand time!
Today I'm specifically scouting for flowers. Yesterday on my daily vlog (I have a channel on YouTube where I upload a video every day! You can follow my creative journey with me there!) you saw I'm repurposing a buffet into an outdoor flower planter.
We painted it and got it ready for flowers. See that show episode here.
I'm excited about all the possibilites I found. Come join me on my hunt for pretty posies for this project in the video below! Surely all the pretty colors will make you smile today!
Shabby Love,
Sonia xo
