Over To The Light "Shabby GOOD" Side

Over To The Light

Hauled this buffet with excitement a few weeks ago to the shabby shop.

Every since it's been looking at me with puppy dog eyes begging for a makeover.

It had faux floral painting on it. Dented and used. Had scratches and dings. In a former life i'm sure it was loved, but mostly recently had been looking aged and all gloomy. Sad from being in a storage locker way too long!

I knew the used "character" along with beautiful raised design/detail of this piece would make the perfect cocktail of shabby chic!

Here she is now restored to new beauty! Brought from the dark side over to the light side! **roll out the red carpet**...

This hand-painted makeover was brought to you by Junk Monkey Paint! The primary color used was Sandy Tan Toes, along with our Black Velvet!

I antiqued the hardware to flip it form a brass, to a blackened state, to coordinate better with it's new "clothes". (Don't forget to pay attention to your hardware when redoing pieces - it can impact your end result!)

Classic, sophisticated, colors that will stand the test of time!

Yes, this piece is up for grabs & ready to be loved again! It's the perfect eye-candy size buffet if you are space challenged! ($285 + Tax)

Transformation to the light side CoMpLeTe! Now on to the next piece....... :)

Shabby Love,

Sonia xo
