Yayyy! We are done! :)
All my work leading up to this was it worth it!
My repurposed wooden buffet into a porch flower planter was a success!
Yes, you can turn old ugly, broken, tired furniture into outdoor decorations for your garden, front steps, back porch, wherever you want to put it!
Let me give you full permission to take pieces that would otherwise be burnt or sent to garbage land and turn it into pretty posie planters!
This piece had the three drawers missing.
I made it work.
It can be anything you want it to be.
I gave mine a shabby, whimiscal, distressed feel!
Part one of me painting this piece is here (See the steps I took to get it ready).
Part two is of me heading out to gather posies to fill it with. (Trip to my favorite local roadside farm market!)
And today I'm happy to share with you the final video of me pulling it all together to make an eye candy of a planter.
Even as I was filling this buffet with flowers, I had people watching as they drove by.
She's a beauty isn't she??!! And that Mermaid Tail color turned out perfect!
I hope you enjoy my reveal of my unique, one of a kind, porch flower planter! I hope it inspires you to grab that free piece of furniture by the road and even STILL take it if it's in rough shape!
Here's my shabby, distressed, whimiscal flower planter! Enjoy below! And thanks for watching!
